WAJE - Words Aren't Just Enough


Nigerian born Songstress Ebele "Waje" Iruobe has been the toast of many in recent times, she is the Female rave-of-the-moment in the Nigerian Music scene. Waje started singing professionally in 2005 while she was still in school, University of Nigeria and has since taken over the scene. In 2008, Waje participated in the Zain/MTV Africa's Advance Warning competition and was in the top three. She released “Somewhere” which got a Hip Hop World Award nomination for Best Vocal Performance (Female) while “Kolo” got her a nomination at the Nigeria Music Video Awards for Best New Video. Another track of hers is "Ada". In 2011 Waje released a hit single entitled So Inspired featuring Muna. She recently picked up the award for ‘Best Pop/R&B Artiste at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards 2011 held on the Sept 5th in New York, USA.

Waje has been nominated for The Headies (Hip-Hop World Awards) 2011's Best Vocal Performance (Female) category and her song "For a minute" nominated as Best R&B Single.
